Re: Report on withdrawals received in the matter of ASM Elections 2026 to:
1) Scrutinizing Committee for one year (2026-2027) - 7 posts
2) Managing Committee Member (2026-2029) - 5 posts
1) The last date for the withdrawal of Nomination papers by the candidates who wish to withdraw from the elections was fixed at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday, 17th September, 2026.
2) No withdrawals were received from any member till 3.00 p.m. today.
3) Therefore, the final position of the candidates in each category is as follows:
3A SCRUTINIZING COMMITTEE (2026-2027) - 7 POSTS :
At the time of scrutiny on 16th September 2026, 07 candidates had filed their Nomination forms to the 07 posts of Scrutinizing Committee for the year 2026-2027 which were found to be in Order and Valid. The names of the candidate are furnished below:

3B MANAGING COMMITTEE (2026-2029) - 5 Posts:
At the time of scrutiny of Nomination forms on 16th September 2026, there were 10 candidates contesting the election to the 5 posts of Managing Committee. No withdrawal has been received from any of the candidates. Thus, the final list of candidates contesting the election to the 5 posts of Managing Committee is as follows:

As number of Nominations Forms filed are more than the vacant posts, election for the post of Managing Committee will be held on the day of 222nd AGM scheduled on Saturday, 26th September 2026. Thus, all the above 10 candidates will be contesting election for the Member of Managing Committee for 05 posts for the period 2026-2029.
4) This notification may be placed on the Society’s Notice Board and shall form a part of the Report of the Returning Officer.
5) Final declaration of results for all posts will be done after counting of votes polled by each candidate on the day of Election on 26th September 2026.
