Ye Shaam, Bohri Mohalle Ke Naam

What can be better than a Ramzan evening, in Bohri Mohalla, with a culinary anthropologist? That’s right, the man with the most interesting stories, Dr Kurush Dalal will be leading us on a food walk that’s packed with stories, history and delicious food.

Rolls, baida rotis, seekh, khiri, ice cream, barahandi, malai khaja, jalebis and to top it all malpua with malai. We’ll also stop for some local sherbet and to meet people who have been feeding Mumbai for over 100 years. Just FYI, the ice cream shop has been around for 135 years. And the mithaiwala for 102!
So don’t dawdle, and register fast. Limited places only.
