This is to inform you that the Managing Committee of the Asiatic Society of Mumbai convened an urgent meeting on November 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom, pursuant to the Returning Officer’s letter dated November 1, 2025, and in view of the Order passed by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court on November 6, 2025. The Committee deliberated on the implications of the Returning Officer’s communication and the subsequent Court Order. After due consideration, the Committee has unanimously passed the attached resolution, which is hereby being formally communicated to you.
