This is further to the Notice dated 18th August 2026 sent by mail / post on 18 /08/2026 informing about the 222nd AGM (along with Agenda) being held on Saturday, 26th September, 2026, at 2.00 p.m.
I am now sending the following documents pertaining to the forthcoming AGM (soft copy in PDF format): -
1. 222nd AGM Notice (with Agenda) dated 18th August 2026 (Sent once again)
2. Agenda Item No.1 - Minutes of the previous 221st AGM held on Saturday, 27th September 2025.
3. Agenda Item No. 5 - Annual Report and Audited Statement of Accounts for the year 2025-2026. (Accounts part is sent separately - mail follows)
Members can also access Society’s website http://asiaticsociety.org.in where they will be able to access these documents.

Please note:
Rule 13(b): A member who, on the day of any General Body Meeting of the Society, is in arrears of subscription, or is liable to pay any dues to the Society, shall not be entitled to participate in any way at such a meeting.
Rule 5(c)(i): A person shall cease to be a member of the Society if he/she has failed to pay his/her annual subscription for one year.
Please pay your subscription before Friday, 25th September, 2026.

- Every member should bring his/her ASM I-card along with him/her at the time of the
